The SIEDC Business Council is a group of small to mid-sized businesses that act as a programming and advisory arm of SIEDC. These firms represent a sampling of the many businesses that have achieved success with the help of SIEDC. The group meets every six weeks to discuss a full agenda of projects. Current and past projects include, but are not limited to, entry-level job training programs, transportation issues including design and implementation of a light rail system, a "Keeping Business on Staten Island" campaign, and a Customer Service Institute.
